Digital Community of Practice
Join our digital community of practice!
We regularly host events to introduce our campus community to new digital tools or approaches and to offer digital scholars on campus the opportunity to share their work. All are welcome at our events, with no previous experience required.
We regularly host events as part of the following event series:
Digital Learning & Scholarship Sandbox
- Learn new digital tools and software through play! No previous experience required. At each sandbox meeting, we’ll focus on an easily accessible digital tool. Staff will be on hand to offer guidance, but this is not a “how-to” workshop. Instead, we want to encourage fun, improvisation, and thinking through play about how these tools can enhance your work. All are welcome! Please bring your own laptop.
Project Showcase
- In this series, we highlight digital works and works in progress by faculty, students, staff, community members, and colleagues from other organizations. Speakers can choose to workshop an issue in their project on which they’d like feedback, talk about project design, or share their completed work with members of campus.
Day of Digital Scholarship
- Our yearly showcase for digital works created by members of our community. All our welcome to show completed works and works in progress.
Connecticut Digital Scholarship Exchange (CTDS)
- A collaborative program hosted by Connecticut College and Trinity College designed to create opportunities for faculty and students to learn about digital scholarship through virtual workshops, tours, and other events. Explore the current CTDS schedule here.
